Support Our Mission: Extend a Helping Hand

When an Indian contractual laborer loses their life to a tragic worksite or road accident in the Gulf, the devastation ripples thousands of miles back home. Behind every statistic is a family suddenly left completely stranded—shattered by grief, cut off from their primary breadwinner, and paralyzed by severe language barriers and a lack of funds.

While Gulf labor codes rightfully guarantee corporate insurance, statutory end-of-service benefits, and third-party traffic accident damages, these marginalized families rarely secure them. The complex, cross-border legal processes mean that without immediate intervention, justice remains entirely out of reach.

At GULF SEWA, we refuse to let distance, poverty, or legal complexities deny these families their rights. But we cannot fight this battle alone. We need your noble helping hands to sustain this lifeline.

Where Your Contribution Goes

Your generosity directly powers our ground-level interventions, transforming despair into hope and financial stability:

1. Repatriation Expenses

  • Body Repatriation: Navigating the complex regulatory requirements of Gulf authorities, airlines, and embassies to ensure the dignified return of the deceased’s mortal remains to India.
  • Alternative Local Burial/Cremation: In cases where repatriation is not logistically feasible or explicitly waived by the family, legal assistance covers the formal documentation, local municipal permissions, and expenses required for a respectful local burial or cremation in the host country.
  • Cargo & Clearance Charges: Handling the payment of cross-border documentation fees, specialized embalming, sealing certificates, and customs clearances at both the departing and arriving airports.

2. Final Funeral Rites

  • Immediate Ritual Expenses: Providing direct financial support to the grieving family to perform traditional final rites and cultural or religious funeral ceremonies immediately upon the body’s arrival home.
  • Logistical Support: Covering the local transportation costs from the domestic airport to the native village or hometown for the final ceremonies.

3. Welfare of the Deceased's Family

  • Emergency Financial Corpus: Disbursing immediate, short-term financial relief to ensure the family's survival, food security, and urgent needs the moment the primary breadwinner is lost.
  • Long-Term Financial Stability Claims: Pursuing legal avenues under Gulf labor codes to secure mandatory corporate insurance payouts, statutory end-of-service benefits (gratuity), and third-party traffic or workplace accident damages.
  • Sustenance and Rehabilitation: Structuring the recovered legal claims and compensation to provide permanent welfare, ensuring the continuation of children's education and long-term livelihood security for the dependent family left behind.
